Find Your Level

A number that gets more confident the more you train.

One workout time on its own doesn't tell you much. A 45-minute effort could be a good day or an off one, and you've got no way to know which. Find Your Level rolls everything you complete in Compete into one number, your persistent Ultra Level, that actually means something on its own.

How Find Your Level works

Your level is built from your challenges and benchmark workouts, weighted so recent sessions count more than old ones. That means it moves as your form actually does, rather than staying frozen from a workout you did months ago. A momentum graph shows whether you're trending up, holding steady, or falling, week over week, so the number always comes with context.

Why one number beats one workout time

A single finish time can't tell you whether you're actually improving, it's just one data point from one day. Your Ultra Level is the opposite, it's built from everything you've done recently, so a great session nudges it up and a rough patch nudges it down, without either one deciding the whole picture on its own. That's what makes it trustworthy in a way a single stopwatch reading never can be.

Where to find it

Your Ultra Level sits on your profile, with the momentum graph and your level history underneath it. On the watch, you also choose how you see it live during a workout: a dynamic pacing level that adjusts with every split, an ahead-or-behind view against a goal time, or no pacing shown at all, just the clock.

Who gets the most out of it

Anyone who trains consistently enough that a single number can actually track them, which is most people doing structured HYROX work. It's less meaningful if you only complete the odd challenge here and there, the level needs a reasonable stream of sessions to weight properly and stay current.

Getting the most out of it

Check the "days to maintain" indicator before deciding to take a rest week. Levels don't just go up, they need occasional reinforcement, so timing a benchmark session around that window keeps your number climbing instead of drifting back down. Glance at the momentum graph rather than the raw number day to day, the trend tells you more than any single reading.

Common questions

Does my level ever reset? No, it's persistent and carries forward, it only moves based on your actual training, not on a fixed schedule.

What counts toward it? Challenges and benchmark workouts specifically, weighted toward your most recent sessions.

Why did my level drop after a good session? The overall number reflects a weighted trend, not just your last result, a single good session moves it but doesn't override everything before it.
