Every Station Gets Its Own Score
Green means you're ahead of your level. Red means it's costing you.
An overall race time tells you the result, not the reason. Station Comparisons, part of Strengths & Weaknesses inside Athlete IQ, gives you the reason by scoring every individual station against your level instead of folding everything into one number.
How Station Comparisons works
Every station gets its own score. Green means you performed ahead of your current level there, red means it cost you, so you can see at a glance which parts of the race are actually working for you and which aren't. A summary card shows exactly how much time you banked, how much you lost, and which single station swung the result the most in either direction.
Why one result can't tell you what to train
A finish time tells you how the race went, it doesn't tell you what to do about it. Two athletes can post the exact same overall time for completely different reasons, one strong across every station, another carrying a fast run and a weak Sled Pull. Without a per-station breakdown, both would train the same way next block, which makes no sense for either of them. Scoring each station individually turns a single result into a specific, actionable training priority.
Where to find it
Open any completed race result and look for Station Comparisons alongside your splits. It's built from the same level data that powers Find Your Level, so the two always stay consistent with each other.
Who gets the most out of it
Anyone trying to decide what to actually train next, rather than just training everything evenly and hoping it balances out. It's especially useful heading into a new block, a clear red station gives you a concrete answer to "what should I focus on" instead of a guess.
Getting the most out of it
Train the station that "lost most" before the one that "gained most." It's tempting to keep doing what you're already good at, but the red stations are where the next chunk of race time actually lives. Revisit this after every race rather than just once a season, your strengths and weaknesses shift as training progresses, and last block's weak station isn't always this block's.
Common questions
What's my "level" being compared against here? The same level data behind Find Your Level, so a station score reflects your current form, not a fixed benchmark from when you started.
Does a red station always mean I got worse at it? Not necessarily, it means that station cost you relative to your current level, which can also mean the rest of your race improved faster than that one station did.
Can I compare station scores across different races? Each completed race result has its own Station Comparisons view, so you can look at multiple races side by side to see whether a pattern repeats.
