An AI Breakdown Of Every Session
Your best, your last, and the gap between them.
Repeating a benchmark workout tells you a time, not a story. Effort Analysis, part of Athlete IQ in ROXFIT Ultra, adds the story: what changed, what it means, and what to do differently next time you take it on.
How Effort Analysis works
Every time you repeat a workout, see your best time, your last attempt, and the gap between them plotted on a graph, so the trend is visible at a glance rather than buried in a list of past sessions. Athlete IQ then adds an in-depth AI breakdown of the effort itself: what went well, what broke down, and where the time actually went, station by station.
Why a time alone doesn't tell you enough
Two identical finish times can hide two completely different sessions, one where you paced it perfectly and one where you barely held on after going out too hard. A number can't tell those apart, it just tells you the outcome. The AI breakdown fills that gap, naming the actual pattern in the effort, a fast start that cost you the back half, or a station that quietly ate more time than you realised, so you're working from what actually happened, not just how it felt afterwards.
Where to find it
Open any repeated workout's history and look for Effort Analysis underneath the splits. It only appears once you've completed the same workout more than once, since there's nothing to compare against on a first attempt.
Who gets the most out of it
Anyone who repeats benchmark sessions and wants more than a bare time to show for it. It's particularly useful if you've plateaued on a workout and can't tell why, the breakdown often surfaces the actual cause faster than trying to remember how three different attempts each felt.
Getting the most out of it
Read the AI breakdown before your next attempt at the same workout, not just after finishing it. It's most useful as prep for round two, not just a post-mortem on the one you just completed. Look specifically for repeated patterns across multiple attempts, a single AI note is a data point, the same note showing up three times in a row is something to actually fix.
Common questions
How many attempts do I need before this shows up? Two, it compares your most recent attempt against your best, so it needs at least a second completion to have anything to analyse.
Does the AI breakdown replace looking at my splits? No, it sits alongside your splits and the best-vs-last graph, adding the "why" on top of the raw numbers rather than replacing them.
Is this the same as HYPE? No, HYPE is ROXFIT's AI coaching chat for building and generating workouts. Effort Analysis is a different Athlete IQ feature focused specifically on breaking down a completed session.
